Privacy Policy
Told in Pieces: Jigsaw Story ("the app") is a puzzle game with illustrated story levels. This policy explains what information the app uses and why.
What we do not collect
The app has no accounts and no sign-in. We do not ask for, and do not collect, your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location.
What stays on your device
Your game progress, settings, hint count and puzzle state are stored on your device. If you delete the app, this local data is removed.
Pearls and unlocked chapters (iCloud)
Your pearl balance, your hint count and the story chapters you have unlocked are also saved in your own iCloud account using Apple's iCloud key-value storage, so that they are not lost if you reinstall the app or switch to a new device. This data is kept by Apple under your Apple ID and is protected by your iCloud settings. We cannot see it and it is not sent to us. If iCloud is turned off for the app, this information stays on your device only and may be lost if you delete the app.
In-app purchases
The app offers optional packs of pearls, which are virtual items used inside the game to unlock story chapters and to get hints. Pearls have no cash value and cannot be transferred. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details, your Apple ID or your billing address. The app records the transaction identifier that Apple provides, only so that each purchase adds pearls once. You can also earn pearls for free by playing puzzles or by watching optional rewarded ads.
Advertising
The app is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To show ads, Google and its partners may collect and use certain information from your device, such as your device or advertising identifier, IP address (which can indicate an approximate location), and how you interact with ads, as well as crash and performance data. Whether ads are personalised depends on your choices:
- Where required, the app shows a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) and you can change your choice at any time from Settings > Privacy Options.
- On iOS, the app may ask permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites. You can say no, or change this later in your device's Settings. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised using the advertising identifier.

Anonymous usage statistics
The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played, for example which levels are started or completed, how long a level takes, and how often hints are used. These statistics can include that a pearl pack purchase took place (the product and its price), but they contain no personal information such as your name or email. Google may process an app-instance identifier and basic device and app information to provide this service.
Game content updates
To show seasonal offers and events without requiring an app update, the app downloads a small configuration file from our website (cdn.starlitjasmine.com). The request contains no account or personal information. As with any internet request, the server that hosts the file (Cloudflare) can see your IP address and basic technical details such as your device type. We do not use this to identify you.
Children
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the service providers described above (Google AdMob and Google Analytics for Firebase) for the purposes described. Apple processes your purchases and your iCloud data under its own privacy policy.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (for example the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. Because we do not hold an account or personal profile for you, most of this is handled through your device settings and the consent options above. For any request, contact us at the address below.
